The power of music has long been associated with benefits due to releases of stress and the ability to change or enhance moods.
Other research has studied whether the actual vibration of the music can have an effect on biological systems; the use of ultrasound on sperm producing capabilities is one of these.
One thing that is often disregarded is, just as visible light is only a small fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum, audible sound is only a small fraction of the sound spectrum.
The higher and lower frequencies of the sound spectrum such as VLF (very low frequency) and ELF (extremely low frequency) have been proven to be very powerful.
The two chemicals are set to be released in response to the growing problem of pesticide- and herbicide-resistant "superweeds," which are increasingly plaguing conventional crop fields.
But unlike existing chemical treatments, 2,4-D and dicamba are extremely toxic, and threaten to destroy nearby trees, plants, and crops, which will have a devastating impact on the environment as a whole.
The United States has several major regulatory agencies and "cancer prevention" organizations which have not only been suppressing natural cancer cures for 70 years, but have been approving, supporting, endorsing and profiting from cancer-causing agents in food, beverages and cosmetics since World War II.
5. Margarine: The body cannot incorporate trans-fatty acids into membranes, thus causing deformed cellular structures. Vegetable shortening and partially hydrogenated vegetable oils accelerate aging and degenerative changes in tissues.
10. Artificial Sweeteners: Aspartame, Acesulfame K, Sucralose, Sorbitol, Truvia, and of course, Saccharin.
Because they taste sweet, these chemical sweeteners trick the body into ingesting them and holding on to them for extended periods of time, turning rancid in the body fat.
Fake sugars are the "Trojan horses" of the cell-choking and mutating, food agent industry. Sorbitol is also found in many vaccines.
February 15, 2001 -- You can't tell by looking, but scientists say the Sun has just undergone an important change.
Our star's magnetic field has flipped.
The Sun's magnetic north pole, which was in the northern hemisphere just a few months ago, now points south. It's a topsy-turvy situation, but not an unexpected one.
"This always happens around the time of solar maximum," says David Hathaway, a solar physicist at the Marshall Space Flight Center.
"The magnetic poles exchange places at the peak of the sunspot cycle. In fact, it's a good indication that Solar Max is really here."
Yes, it's true.
NASA predicts a solar pole shift, a polar reversal that will happen in 2012 on the sun.
However, this is not unusual for the sun's poles to flip.
This happens every 11 years. The last time the sun had a pole reversal was in 2001.
The fact that the sun will have a polar shift where the poles literally reverse is a natural occurrence and is nothing to be amazed about.
This happens constantly in the sun's cycles. This is not unusual science from NASA.
Richard Lloyd, Which? executive director, said: "We know a great swathe of UK consumers are finding it tough, with people struggling with rising fuel, energy, mortgage and food costs.
Our own research shows one in four people being forced to use their savings to buy daily essentials like food, and one in five going into debt to buy these things."
