These have been strange days! We seem to experience our day to day life as if we exist within these abrupt and erratic "pockets" of time and space.

It makes for interesting moments of spontaneous synchronicities and "out of the blue" movements in between long runways of quiet or stillness.
It gives us a feeling of magnetic "choppiness" as the sensation of how we actually feel the external energies moving around us. That choppiness can make one feel disoriented (what day is this?) to lightly dizzy. (what's going on in my brain?)

We have been spending a lot of time needing to sleep, to meditate or lay down in order to integrate our new selves. Others are still in the phase of "completions" and have been coming full circle with the many persons, places, or things from the past identity.

(example: reconciling or ending family of origin or ancestral issues)

If much of everything seems oh so quiet now, if our phones have ceased ringing for many weeks, if there has been no forward movement for quite some time, if we have lost more than we ever thought we could, and if we may feel more alone than ever before, this is only because we are at the gate. By now, many of us have mastered being in the eye of the storm, as we have literally been removed from much. And being in the eye is a very peaceful space for sure.

27th May 2009: The Four of Wands

The Lord of Completion marks a point where a circle has been completed. It can apply to work projects, personal situations - even phases of life. In some respects it's like a lesser reflection of the Universe, the final Major Arcana card.

Another aspect of the 4 of Wands associate it with the Major Arcanum of Adjustment, or Justice. This is because this Wand indicates the manifestation of balanced forces, resulting in the fulfilment of earlier hopes, ideas and dreams. The balance aspect, combined with the overall morality of Wands, brings us to think about injustice being resolved, inequity acknowledged and set right. .........

The solstice of June 2008 served to knock us out of our old grooves and old roles, and many felt this as a severe trauma, with energies that were very challenging and difficult to handle.

But this time, the energies of the impending solstice of June 2009 will serve to create just the opposite. We will instead, be grabbed and pulled downward, as we officially become the rightful stewards of our beautiful planet Earth. It will be all about grounding.

While allowing for these final pieces to fall into place, it is near impossible to make any kind of decision. During the past few weeks, in many ways, we have been experiencing what I have referred to for many years as the 'stop sign' energy.
This energy always arrives when we are in a great transition.
It serves to prohibit us from moving forward, and has a frustrating by-product of not allowing much of anything to manifest, even in regard to the simplest of projects or creations.

So even though there are very dramatic manifestations or pieces coming together for us at very deep and high levels, we are still experiencing the stop sign energy, for very good reason.

So open yourself to the perspective of the other.
What harm would it do if you chose to see the other side or walked a mile in someone else's shoes?

We must all find a way to talk through our disagreements.
Walking away in anger never solves anything.
Learn to recognize your anger:
stop, stay, be quiet, and then speak from a calm rationality and not from the rage.

55. Letting Go

In existence there is nobody who is superior and nobody who is inferior. The blade of grass and the great star are absolutely equal....

But man wants to be higher than others, he wants to conquer nature, hence he has to fight continuously. All complexity arises out of this fight.
The innocent person is one who has renounced fighting; who is no longer interested in being higher, who is no longer interested in performing, in proving that he is someone special; who has become like a rose flower or like a dewdrop on the lotus leaf; who has become part of this infinity; who has melted, merged and become one with the ocean and is just a wave; who has no idea of the "I".

The disappearance of the "I" is innocence.

Commentary:

In this image of lotus leaves in the early morning, we can see in the rippling of the water that one drop has just fallen. It is a precious moment, and one that is full of poignancy. In surrendering to gravity and slipping off the leaf, the drop loses its previous identity and joins the vastness of the water below.

We can imagine that it must have trembled before it fell, just on the edge between the known and the unknowable. To choose this card is a recognition that something is finished, something is completing.
Whatever it is - a job, a relationship, a home you have loved, anything that might have helped you to define who you are - it is time to let go of it, allowing any sadness but not trying to hold on.

Something greater is awaiting you, new dimensions are there to be discovered. You are past the point of no return now, and gravity is doing its work. Go with it - it represents liberation.
